Reservations and Payment

The Cottages may be rented by a maximum of four persons (five in the Gardener´s Cottage) for a period of one or several weeks at a time.

Reservations can be made by agreement via email or telephone (please see contact info below).

Your booking will become valid following the payment of a sum equivalent to 20% of the total rent. You will receive our account number with the confirmation of your reservation.

The balance for the rent shall be paid not less than three weeks prior to the commencement of the rental period. If full payment has not been received by this time, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

Should you wish to cancel the booking after full payment has been made, then you will receive full reimbursement of your payment minus the 20% deposit. A condition for this repayment is that we succeed in finding other full paying guests to take over the accommodation.

Equipment

The Cottage is fully furnished and the kitchen is equipped with porcelain and other kitchen equipment. The beds have blankets, eiderdown and pillows.

A WIFI connection with Internet is available.

Bed sheets and towels

As guest you will be required to take with you your own towels and sheets. If that is not possible you can rent them from us for 15 EUR per person. Please tell us in good advance and preferrably pay for them together with the house rent.

Times for Arrival and Departure

Time for access to the Cottage is, unless other terms have been agreed, 15.00 Saturday.

On the day of departure, Saturday, the accommodation shall be cleaned and tidied prior to leaving at 12.00 noon.

Pets and Smoking

With respect for other guests having allergies we are unfortunately unable to accept dogs or cats nor can we permit smoking in the cottages.

Laundry

You can hand wash your clothes and let them hang to dry in the garden. There is no washing machine. There is a laundrette in the marina in Linanäs (6 km).

Cleaning

The cottages shall be cleaned so that they are as fresh and inviting as you yourself would wish to find them when you next visit us.

The cleaning shall embrace the following:

• Washing and drying of dishes and other household utensils
• Thorough cleaning of the refrigerator and freezer
• Vacuum cleaning of the floor and mats in the whole house
• Wet dusting of the kitchen floors and the walls and floors in the shower room and toilet
• Thorough cleaning of the toilet and washbasin
• Emptying of the ashes in the stoves

The vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment is to be found in the Cleaning Closet.

Garbage Disposal

We ask that you sort out plastics, paper and metals for recycling. There is a recycling deposit by the car ferry.
If you are not able to leave the material there, you can let us take care of it.

There is a compost for kitchen waste in the garden.

Please put other waste packed in plastic bags in the dustbin beside the road. Emptying takes place once a week.
