Our two cottages are located in the village of Hummelmora which lies beautifully by Edö Bay on Södra Ljusterö.
The area is characterised by its untouched archipelago countryside with cliffs, bathing inlets, forests and meadows with grazing cattle.

There is a lot to see and do on Ljusterö. For example, you can play golf, mini golf, view and purchase local handicrafts or visit the local museum, the beautiful Ljusterö Church or the Östra Nature Reserve. You will find some restaurants as well as grocery shops and a local bakery.

Ljusterö is located in the district of Roslagen in the northern part of the Stockholm Archipelago. Ljusterö is connected to the mainland with regular ferry services and the car / boat journey time from Stockholm is around one hour. You can also choose to take the Vaxholm boat from Stockholm which stops at the Hummelmora Jetty. The journey time from Stockholm is around two hours.
